Notes

Please fill out the accommodation register and give a copy of your passport upon check-in, which is required from Osaka City office due to regulation for the prevention of terrorist attack. (Stored for 3 years) Please understand this request since we do care about the privacy and never bring it out except for the request from Osaka City office.

You may hear the sound of walking or water, especially the sound of dogs running from upstairs, because we, host family, live upstairs. We, of course, try not to make much sound, but we appreciate it if you accept those sounds. We, the host family, are open-minded about the sounds and you can enjoy music downstairs. Please enjoy it as much as you don’t bother the neighbors.

The reservation for Tea ceremony or Dressing Kimono may be cancelled when the host has an emergency problem. Please understand the situation. While the host is out, you can check-in and -out using a number key that we will tell you in advance.

We are poor at foreign language. It’s really helpful if you speak plain English slowly. We have a translation application on our mobile phone and we can make communication using this application.

We change towels or water of flowers and clean the bathroom everyday basically in the morning. Please let us know the time you like. We come in your room after knocking and asking.
In the case of long stay, we are ordered from Osaka City office to clean the room and change the linen once a week. Cleaning is free during your stay.

Please pay attention when bringing in small children.
A scratchy thing such as a sundeck which is high and has no fence, a potted plant placed on a shelf,
There also are easily broken or damaged items, such as earthen wall or shoji (paper window panes), in the Tea-ceremony room.

Accommodation of persons who are not on the register. (Please ask for the pre-permission when you invite friends. Accommodation fee is required after 23:00)

Leaving valuables. (We shall not be responsible for any theft or loss. Please lock the windows and doors before going out)

Pets

You can stay with your pet at Botanica Inn if your pet meets the conditions below:
Clean and healthy
No problematic behavior such as breaking the facilities
Smaller than the placed cage (115×60×60)
Can be left at home in the cage. Finished toilet training, etc.

Fee for the pet depends on other conditions. Please contact us by email in advance. For example, miniature dog (~2kg): ¥1,000/night, toy dog (~5kg): ¥1,500/night including toilet sheet, feeding or changing the sheet during your absence. Please give deposit, ¥10,000, due to the possibility of messing or breaking the equipment, which will be given back to you back upon check-out if no problems.

We can take your pet for a walk (for a fee) if you like
, however, this is not available for some pets that we cannot handle, considering safety. Fee will be set upon check-in.

Please tell us your contact while you are out leaving your pet.

Please bring the acquired food for the pet. (Blankets, towels, and food bowls are prepared. There are the pet food shop and DIY store nearby

Pets are allowed to enter the pet room only. You cannot shampoo your pet in the bathroom. If you want to sleep with your pet, your bed must be placed in the pet room.

Please note that the cleaning fee will be added for shedding pets or powder down birds such as parrots, since we need to clean the room twice a day for allergic guests.

There is an animal doctor in the neighborhood, who is our dog’s doctor.

We shall not be responsible for any disease or accident of your pet not caused by our fault.
